About this place
At the Italian restaurant KITCHEN ISHIGAKI in Kanda Sudacho, a good place to start is the house-smoked mackerel, scented with cherry wood. Other tempting starters include a smooth pâté made only with chicken liver and ajillo with three large shrimp—small plates that pair well with a drink. A glass of sparkling wine or a crisp white makes for an easygoing pairing as you work your way through the plates.
For a more substantial centrepiece, the pizza selection includes classics such as Margherita and Gorgonzola, as well as Quattro Formaggi served with honey. There is also a daily pasta, with three options to choose from, alongside more filling meat dishes such as duck-leg confit and grilled Iberico pork. These make the menu well suited to sharing with a group.
The restaurant has counter and table seating, as well as private rooms, offering a calm setting for a meal and conversation. Dinner courses and all-you-can-drink plans are available, making a reservation and a leisurely evening around the table a fitting way to dine. After the meal, you can order grappa, limoncello or espresso and take your time over the final sip.
